This product is a combination of ten ingredients formulated to support mobility, promote joint flexibility, and relieve joint pain.  The following is a brief description of each compound:

Glucosamine sulfate is considered an important building block needed by the organism to manufacture specialized molecules called glycosaminoglycans, found in cartilage.  Glucosamine sulfate (stabilized with a mineral salt) has been shown in studies and clinical trials to be effective in the relief of osteoarthritis pain.
                                                                                   
Clinical experience involving thousands of cases has demonstrated that methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) provides relief in about 70% of people experiencing pain.  MSM is a source of sulfur, a mineral element critical to the normal function and structure of the body. Sulfur is a raw material for protein and connective tissue that make up the body mass, for enzymes that conduct countless chemical reactions, and for powerful natural compounds that protect the organism against toxicity and harmful oxidative stress.

Considered to be an important herb for this product, turmeric has been shown to have a wide range of therapeutic actions.  It promotes protection against free radical damage because it is considered a strong antioxidant. Turmeric also promotes the reduction of inflammation by lowering histamine levels and possibly by incrementing the production of natural cortisone by the adrenal glands.

An Ayurvedic herb, boswellia serrata extract has been used in India for centuries.  The gummy exudate from boswellia is grouped with other gum resins and referred to collectively as guggul.  Historically, guggul was recommended by Ayurvedic physicians for a variety of conditions and the relief of arthritis pain. 
                                              
A plant mineral complex, Fruitex-B® contains calcium fructoborate, a boron-calcium carbohydrate molecule found in fruits, nuts, legumes, and vegetables.
Calcium fructoborate is part of the European Union’s list of novel food ingredients.  It is used as a food supplement for adults for osteoarthritis and bone loss.  Calcium fructoborate is a salt containing boron, fructose, and calcium.

Chicken collagen type II is a protein that provides the skin its structure, smoothness, and youth. Also, it is vital for the structure of muscles, tendons, cartilage, ligaments, bones, as well as hair and nails.  
                                     
A major constituent of cartilage, chondroitin sulfate provides structure, holds water and nutrients, and allows other molecules to move through cartilage.  In degenerative joint conditions, such as osteoarthritis, there is a loss of chondroitin sulfate as the cartilage erodes.  Chondroitin sulfate has been shown in many studies to relieve symptoms and possibly slow the progression of the condition.

Bromelain is a complex mixture of protease (an enzyme that breaks down proteins and peptides) extracted from pineapple fruit or stem.  Although a comprehensive molecular mechanism of action of bromelain has not been completely identified, bromelain is considered an effective therapeutic agent due to its history of safe use and lack of side effects. Bromelain is widely used for its well-recognized properties promoting anti-inflammatory activity, immunomodulatory effects, and many more.

Originated in south-east Asia, ginger has been used in many countries for culinary purposes as well as in traditional herbal medicine. The health-promoting benefits of ginger are attributed to its rich phytochemistry. Ginger has a wide therapeutic application for many degenerative disorders. It is presently used to promote digestive, cardiovascular, and joint health, among others.

A substance that occurs naturally in the skin, eyes, and joints, hyaluronic acid’s main function is to trap water inside tissue cells, keeping the eyes moist and the joints lubricated.
