Canker-S™

Canker-S™ is a combination of the amino acid L-Lysine, vitamin C, deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL), aloe, zinc, and B vitamins. Canker-S™ has been formulated to support immune health and help promote relief from canker sores. Canker sores are small, painful ulcerations that form within the mouth, usually caused by a weakened immune system, stress, tissue trauma, nutrient deficiencies, or fluctuating hormones.

Ingredients

L-lycine is one of the nine essential amino acids that the body is unable to produce. It supports tissue growth and repair and is also a key player in the production of various enzymes, hormones, and antibodies. It is commonly used to reduce the development of canker sores.

Vitamin C is an important antioxidant and promotes immune activity. Its intake has shown to promote the normalization of white blood cell function. This vitamin could also help prevent recuring canker sores by aiding collagen synthesis.

Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) is a specialized licorice root extract with the glycyrrhizin molecule removed, commonly used to for peptic ulcers, heartburn, and canker sores. It acts by stimulating the stomach’s protective mucus lining and reducing inflammation without the high blood pressure side effects associated with regular licorice.

Aloe is an effective agent against canker sores. It can be used internally or externally to promote anti-inflammatory and soothing activity.

Zinc can help manage recurrent canker sores, particularly if a deficiency exists. Daily supplementation can reduce the frequency of future outbreaks.

Vitamin B deficiency may contribute to the development of canker sores. This formula includes niacin (B3), folic acid, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), and cyanocobalamin (B12).
