Used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dong quai is often referred to as the female ginseng and is commonly included in herbal blends formulated for women’s health. The root of this herb is believed to have balancing or adaptogenic effects on the female hormonal system.
Fo-ti root has also been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for years.
