Ingredients
Green coffee bean extract comes from coffee beans that have not been roasted or highly processed. Regular coffee is roasted at high temperatures (475 degrees Fahrenheit), changing the chemical structure of the bean and its color, aroma, taste, and nutrient content. Green coffee bean extract is a rich source of several antioxidants, including several polyphenols. One of them is called chlorogenic acid (CGA), which may act as a natural weight loss agent and fat burner.
A 2008 study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that green coffee bean extract contains chlorogenic acids, mainly caffeoylquinic and dicaffeoylquinic acids, which may help support healthy weight management and act as natural fat burners.
Green coffee extract is known to support alertness and energy due to its caffeine content. It acts as a mild stimulant, influencing certain hormones and neurotransmitters and affecting the central nervous system.
