This product is a combination of garcinia cambogia extract (60%), minerals, and seaweeds. It has been formulated to promote the suppression of appetite and reduction of fat.

Garcinia cambogia contains various phytochemicals including flavonoids and hydroxycitric acid. This acid has been identified as a potential agent for weight management and as an anti-obesity compound. Various in vivo studies have contributed to the understanding of the anti-obesity effects of hydroxycitric acid via regulation of serotonin level and glucose uptake. Garcinia Cambogia has shown to promote the improvement of weight regulation and appetite reduction in both human and animal studies.

Chromium has been studied for its potential role in altering body composition. Preliminary research in animals and humans suggested that chromium promotes the increase of fat loss and gain in lean muscle tissue.

Clinical studies have identified a link between dietary calcium intake and body weight suggesting that this mineral seems to bind more fatty acids in the intestines, thereby inhibiting the absorption of some fats. The study concluded that calcium and dairy food intake can influence many components of energy and fat balance.

The mineral potassium could promote weight loss by converting food into energy and assisting to build muscles. The bigger and stronger the muscles are, the more calories they burn.
