Canker-S™ is a combination of the amino acid l-lysine, vitamin C, deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL), and B vitamins. Canker-S™ has been formulated to support the immune system and promote the relief of canker sores (small ulcerations within the mouth).
L-lycine is one of the nine essential amino acids that the body is unable to produce. It is used to support the growth and repair of tissue and it is also a key player in promoting various enzymes, hormones, and antibodies.
Vitamin C is an important antioxidant and promotes immune activity. Its intake has shown to promote the normalization of white blood cell function.
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) is a safe form of the licorice where glycyrrhiza glabra, known to cause many side effects, is removed. DGL may support the relief of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Vitamin B deficiency may contribute with the development of canker sores. This includes niacin, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, and cyanocobalamin.
