This product is a combination of quality chlorophyll, pau d’arco bark, and red clover blossoms. Chlorophyll is the molecule that absorbs sunlight using its energy to synthesize carbohydrates from carbon dioxide and water. This process is described as photosynthesis and is the basis for sustaining life processes of all plants. Chlorophyll is consumed due to its detoxification properties and support for healthy cellular activity.
Lapachol and beta-lapachone (known as naphthaquinones) are two important active compounds in pau d’arco. According to laboratory tests, both have properties with immune activity. Natives from Central and South America reportedly use this plant for immune defense.
Red clover is known as an alternative agent producing gradual beneficial changes in the body as well as “blood cleanser”. Modern research has revealed that red clover also contains high amounts of isoflavones with applications to several conditions.
