This product contains pure, quality Moringa imported from India. Moringa’s leaves are rich in vitamins, minerals, and other important phytochemicals. The extract is traditionally used to support nutritional status and has been added to breast milk for lactating mothers. It is considered a potential antioxidant promoting anti-inflammatory activity, glucose control, and healthy cell reproduction.
Moringa is rich in nutrients due to the presence of essential phytochemicals in its leaves, pods, and seeds. It may provide seven times more vitamin C than oranges, ten times more beta-carotene than carrots, seventeen times more calcium than milk, nine times more protein than yogurt, fifteen times more potassium than bananas, and twenty-five times more iron than spinach. The fact that moringa is easy to cultivate makes it an essential nutritional agent for malnutrition in poor and marginal African countries.
In Senegal and Benin, moringa is given to children. Children deprived of breast milk tend to show clear symptoms of malnutrition. Lactagogues, substances that support or increase milk production, are commonly used by mothers during lactation. Lactogogues with high phytosterol content act as a precursor for hormones required for reproductive growth. Phytosterols such as stigmasterol, sitosterol, and campesterol are precursors for hormones. These compounds may support estrogen activity, which can help stimulate the mammary gland ducts involved in milk production. During pregnancy, six tablespoons of the leaves in powder form can meet a woman’s daily iron and calcium requirements.
In addition to vitamins and minerals, moringa contains phytochemicals such as tannins, sterols, terpenoids, flavonoids, saponins, anthraquinones, and alkaloids. These agents promote glucose control and healthy cell growth.
Moringa contains a wide spectrum of nutrients that can be used for several conditions. The leaves are safe to consume through nutritional supplements.
